16.沉香果實(Agarwood Fruits)

沉香果實為蒴果(capsule)：由心皮(carpel)合成，果實成熟後，作縱向開裂，其開裂方式有孔。蒴果木質，倒卵形，被灰黃色短柔毛，具宿存蕚(persistant calyx)。

15.沉香花(Agarwood Flowers)

沉香花的形態與構造描述如下。

沉香花(flower)黃綠色，繖形花序(umbel)，頂生或腋生，有香氣。花萼(septal)淺鐘狀，裂片5枚。花瓣(petal)10片，鱗片狀。雄蕊(stamen)10枚。子房(ovary)上位，卵狀，2室，每室1胚珠(ovule)。

14.沉香葉(Agarwood Leaves)

沉香葉片形態特性描述。單葉，互生，橢圓形或卵形，全緣，無托葉(stipule)。

13.台灣沉香植物(Agarwood Plants,Taiwan)

沉香植物(Agarwood plant)是常綠喬木。植物學的分類地位是屬於瑞香科(Thymelaeaceae)。沉香樹(Aquilaria agallocha )是主要的沉香生產樹木。台灣的沉香植物主要從東南亞等各國引進栽培的外來樹種。

12.沉香是珍貴中藥(Agarwood is a noble Chinese Herb)

沉香是一種珍貴的傳統中藥材，藥性與功效在中醫古書本草備要(1694)有詳細記載。辛、苦、性溫。下氣而墜痰涎，入脾理諸氣而調中。暖精助陽，治心腹疼痛。噤口毒痢，癥癖邪惡，冷風麻痺，氣痢氣淋。 現代的中國藥典(1991)，對於沉香的藥性與應用亦有如下記述：(1)辛苦微溫。(2)行氣止痛。(3)溫中止嘔納氣平喘。(4)用於胸腹脹悶疼痛，胃寒嘔吐呃逆。(5)腎虛氣逆喘急。 (註：中國藥典中藥彩色圖集(1991)。三聯書店，香港。ISBN962-04-0933-7) (Agarwood is a noble Chinese medicinal herb. The pharmaceutical function of agarwood documented in Chinese Pharmacopoeia: (1) Acrid, bitter and warm. (2) Refreshing and treating pain. (3)Treatment for vomiting and asthma. (4) Treatment chest and stomach pain, and distension. (5) Treatment weakness and shortness of breath.)

10.台灣沉香標本園(Taiwan Agarwood Garden)

         三十年前，台灣從東南亞各國引進各種沉香植物。現在，這些植物已經在台灣發揚光大。全台各地遍植沉香，匯集來自不同國家的原生沉香樹種，因此台灣可能成為一個國際大型的沉香植物標本園。
      

       (Thirty years ago, various species of Agarwood (Aquilaria) were introduced from Southeast Asian countries into Taiwan. Now those plants are flourishing in this island, all over planting Agarwoods. Therefore, Taiwan may become a big International Agarwood Botanical Garden.)
